The population distribution is the spatial manifestations of the population development process，but also it is the important part at the different stages of regional development. During the different stages of regional development，population distribution and changes also show different features and rules. This paper analyzes the current situation and change trends of the population distribution of Wuhan Urban Agglomeration，which shows that the Wuhan Urban Agglomeration is about to enter the urban-rural integration stage of development. At last in order to promote urban-rural integration development and speed up rational population distribution，some countermeasures and suggestions are put through the reform of the system，resource optimization，allocation and resource sharing，etc.
