2010 was the year of Beijing “Sustaining Stability”.Beijing made use of many ways，like taking over guns，campus security，forbidding gambling and prostitution，controlling crime of fraud，strengthening village communization management and solving social contradiction，to keep the social order.Meanwhile，2010 was a challenge year Beijing faced in sustaining stability.Many problems and challenges，like the increase of criminal cases，migrants’ crimes，cardres-people contradictions with the housing removal，and capital-labor contradictions，shows that Beijing should accelerate the speed of society-building and social management innovation.The task of “sustaining stability” is still heavy in 2011.Beijing should make use of many different ways，like adjusting the development speed of urbanization，accelerating the income distribution reform，reforming the housing registration system，improving the living environment of migrants，enlarging social welfare，construct police-people new relationship，and strengthening community and family building，to change “sustaining stability” to “creating stability”，pull the prevention of criminal and the solving the social contradition，and improve the long security of society.
