Based on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and relevant international standards,this report starts with generally describing the history and status quo of the rights protection of persons with disabilities in China,introduces the content and indicators of realization of their rights,reviews the domestic legal protection system,observes the recent development in this field through positive analysis,interprets the relevant legal remedy system,and then concludes with the achievements and deficiencies of the holistic protection system and suggestions from multidisciplinary perspectives.It also briefly elaborates the latest national plan for the development program of the persons with disabilities and ends with expectations of future development in new perspectives and fields. <<
