This paper summarizes the main characteristics of China’s economic situation in 2010 from five aspects，and discusses the three main characteristics possibly related to China’s economic growth rate during the 12th Five-year Plan Period. China will stay at the rising phase of the new round of economic cycle and will keep a relatively high level of economic growth rate，leaving little room for further increase. China will be ranked as middle and high-income countries based on the level of gross national income per capita and will remain at the stage of relatively rapid development.
