At the threshold of the Post-Asia-Games Era，Guangzhou shall not only consider how to detail up and deepen the uncompleted planning and project construction，enhance the effective experience，make such experience to play a long-term role and find out and solve existing serious problems，but also shall continuously and effectively utilize this Asia Games as the engine to solve a series of urban environmental problems which are being faced or to be faced in the future and take corresponding challenges. This paper points out ten challenges and problems Guangzhou will face in the Post-Asia-Games Era according to the needs of Guangzhou to be constructed into a national central city and livable city and actively explore the new thoughts for the construction of urban environmental construction in the future of Guangzhou via analysis of the actual situation.
