In this paper，the generation and current disposal status of the domestic garbage in Guangzhou is analyzed，the main methods adopted by main developed countries for disposing the domestic garbage are introduced，main problems in disposing the domestic garbage in Guangzhou are presented，and the increase trend of such garbage is forecasted. Besides，the action scheme on disposal of domestic garbage is put forth on the basis of estimating and comparing the costs of two main modes for disposing such garbage，i.e. incineration and landfill.
