In making preparation for the 16th Asian Games，administrations of the hydraulic affairs and hydraulic facilities changed the traditional ideas.On basis of taking full use of the under-water resources of Guangzhou，they built up sets of typical and high-quality hydraulic projects.The article summarizes the development course and general situation of the construction of hydraulic culture and the development trend.By showing up several construction cases this article provide a view of the new appearance of the construction of hydraulic culture.
