2009 witnessed Huadu District’s economy and society have undergone acid tests but obtained remarkable accomplishments. Huadu adheres to maintain the growth geared by big projects and promote the quality and effectiveness of economic growth，also focuses on livelihood guarantee and social harmony to resolve the main problems in education，medical treatment，and social guarantee. With the improvement of social development，the overall social relationship gets harmonious and the social management has got into a benign cycle. Forecast in 2010，the financial crisis and the change of national macro-control policies will impact on social and economic development of Huadu and the social contradictions and conflicts will not fade away in a short period.
