Based on empirical analysis,the paper investigates the relationship between Participation in Export Markets and Productivity of Chinese non-governmental enterprises. The main conclusions as follow:1)Exporting firms tend to have higher productivity than non-exporting ones do;2)Exporting firms have Self-selection effects;3)Participation in exporting markets does actually improve the productivity of Chinese non-governmental enterprises.
