Based on empirical analysis，the paper investigates the relationship between Participation in Export Markets and Productivity of Chinese non-governmental enterprises. The main conclusions as follow：1）Exporting firms tend to have higher productivity than non-exporting ones do；2）Exporting firms have Self-selection effects；3）Participation in exporting markets does actually improve the productivity of Chinese non-governmental enterprises.
