Cultural industry in Liwan district，has developed a form of “north port，south bay，middle islands，west base”，has shaped design creativity as the main business，has laid out a set of cultural industry bases，and has explored a process that combining with historical buildings. Following the strategy “cautiously-managed Liwan cultural industry gathering zone” determined by Guangzhou government，Liwan district identifies a strategy that takes research-design creativity，construction-design creativity，culture media creativity，machination creativity，fashion consumption creativity，fabrication technology creativity as six main businesses，and establishes Guangzhou Design Port，Lingnan Creativity Base，Datansha Fashion Island，Shamian Creativity Exhibition Park，Guangzhou Minor-enterprise Innovative-technology Industrial Base as five major creativity industrial bases.
