This article has a review on the situation of community re-building in Sichuan’s disaster area after the Wenchuan Earthquake. It points out that the related subjects including governments，voluntary agencies and professional social workers have paid attention to re-building communities and taken some different actions in this field. The article also analyses the concrete strategies and characteristics of the three parts，and basically discusses the challenges as well as the prospects in this aspect.
