Annual growth rate of Guangzhou’s GDP reached 14.6% from 2003 to 2007，and the economic aggregate ranked the 3rd among major cities in China.Meanwhile，Guangzhou took great effort to accelerate industrial upgrading and growth mode transforming.The industrial structure in Guangzhou keeps optimizing and economy is steering into healthy development.Compared with Beijing，Shanghai and other advanced cities，Guangzhou still lags behind in terms of industrial development and structural adjustment.Guangzhou shall keep emancipating the mind，actively transform growth mode and probe into new path for scientific development.
