National Bureau of Statistics carried out the first nationwide investigation on enterprise innovation in 2007.Based on the survey findings，this research makes a detailed analysis on the current status of industrial enterprises in Guangzhou from two aspects of innovation activities and entrepreneur questionnaire，points out existing problems such as relatively low R&D investment，innovative technology content and policy support，and proposes countermeasures including perfecting innovation mechanism，optimizing innovation environment and consummating investment system.
