Data of Chinese Residents’ Quality of Life Survey shows that the level of overall life satisfaction of urban and rural residents is stable；and the indictors on social security and price fluctuation endurance have shown slightly increase. People highly evaluated the government performance in dealing with the international financial crisis，and also have positive evaluations and expectations regarding national economic development level and its future trend. Due to the government’s performance during the financial crisis and its significant role in medical care，social security and other fields concerning people’s livelihood，people’s confidence in government management have increased. However，people’s confidence in national economic development and government management did not promote individuals’ satisfaction on their economic status and confidence in future living standard.
