Science and technology innovation city of Harbin was established under the "12th Five-year Plan" of China. At present, many cities are constructing science and technology innovation city. As a newly developed zone, whether Harbin Science and Technology Innovation City can have a better and faster development will directly relate to future economic development of the city. The characteristics of the Harbin Science and Technology Innovation City construction are generalized from the construction process and development situation. In comparison with other well developed science and technology innovation cities in China, it is concluded that, enlightenment is drawn for this Harbin innovation city in future development. Finally based on the problems existed in Science and Technology Innovation City of Harbin, suggestions are made for further construction and improvement. <<
