Since early 2011, the Heilongjiang provincial government decided to build up Zhaodong project area of Harbin-Daqing-Qiqihar Industry Corridor into a major green food industrial park in Heilongjiang Province. Compared with other parks in the Province, Zhaodong Green Food Industrial Park has obvious advantages in resources, location, industry, and factors aggregation etc. But at the same time, it also has some disadvantages, such as late start-up, poor infrastructure, few brands, weak R&D capabilities, and no scale advantage. The future development of the park needs stronger leadership mechanism, excellent service, high level quality and safety inspection, more R&D investment, in order to ensure sustainable and efficient development of the park in the long term. <<
