Changzhou Island is rich in historical and cultural heritages, and has great potential for tourism development. Firstly, this paper delivers an assessment of Changzhou Island, including analyses of status quo, potential and barrier. Meanwhile, the strategic positioning and development of vision are clear. Secondly, based on function zoning of Changzhou Island in accordance with the relevant planning principles, the mode of reconstruction and protection is designed.Finally, this paper puts forward suggestions to build Changzhou Island into a national historical and cultural tourist attraction. <<
