City economic competitiveness is an important factor of regional economic development. Central Plains Economic Region is an important part of the national plan for development priority zones. Evaluation of integrated economy competitiveness for cities in Central Plains Economic Region is benefit to understanding the status of city economies, and is important for the overall planning and city development of the region. This paper constructs an index system to evaluate the integrated economy competitiveness for cities in Central Plains Economic Region, evaluate the integrated economy competitiveness in 2012 using the AHP method, then the results of the evaluation are briefly analyzed, and put forward some policy suggestions. <<
