The Law of People's Republic of China on Protecting the Rights and Interests of the Elderly has undergone a legislative revision procedure and recently the revised version of the Law has been approved and put into force. It is an evangel not only to China's massive aged population but also to the countless families behind them. It also signifies a breakthrough in China's legislation on aging. Thanks to a long and arduous revision process, the new version of the Law has made a qualitative leap from the older one, dripping with many bracing concepts.
