The general evaluation of the regional leading cadres on social situation of China in 2007 is higher than past years and the overview on reform this year is slightly lower than 2005. However，the leading cadres in different regions hold certain different opinions. The most concerned issues in 2008 among the leading cadres are reforms on income distribution and political institutional reform. The main risks that need to be avoided are financial crisis，decline of social trustworthiness and wealth disparity.
