The negative impact of the global financial crisis on Chinese residents becomes more evident in 2010. First，the overall life satisfaction of urban and rural residents is declining. On the individual level，people are less satisfied with their economic status，occupation and social security. On the national level，indicators on national economic confidence，international status and government performance also experience a declining trend. Meanwhile，price fluctuation endurance is falling as well as consuming confidence. Commodity Price，housing，medical care and other key social issues have not been substantially improved. There is a huge gap between feelings of national economic achievements and feelings of people’s welfare. At the same time，social development lags behind economic development.
