In 2010，oriented by the strategy for speeding up constructions towards a National Central City，and directed by the preparations for the 16^th Asian Games & the 1st Asian Para Games，effective measures and policies were introduced in Guangzhou to focus on adjusting the economic structure，promoting the transformation of the mode of economic growth，facilitating economic development，and enhancing public livelihood. Guangzhou’s GDP in 2010 reached over 1 trillion Yuan. In 2011，Guangzhou will transform the enormous spiritual assets from the Asian Games into driving force for accelerating economic growth and building the Happiness of Guangzhou. In addition，a scientific，intensive and permanent urban administration system is being built step by step.
