Hong Kong subway is the only profitable rail transit in the world,and its management system,profit model and service idea is universally praised.In recent years,along with the economic development and traffic problems increasingly serious,the subway has naturally become the project which is competed by cities in mainland.However,how to develop is not prepared,even a large city like Shanghai,although many subway lines are built,still there are some problems in operation management.Therefore,it is important and necessary to learn from the successful experience of Hong Kong subway development.This article mainly studies the experience of Hong Kong subway about the market operation mechanism,financing,profit model and service,etc,in order to provide help for urban rail transit construction in China. <<
