On the basis of analyzing that low-carbon city is the inexorable trend of urban development, the achievement and challenge of Guangzhou to build a low-carbon city, this paper puts forwards that Guangzhou must adopt the countermeasures to build a low-carbon city in such aspects as work out strategic plan, optimize urban energy structure, adjust the urban industrial structure, promote the low-carbon technology innovation, develop the urban track traffic, continuously increase the forest carbon-sink, perfect the low-carbon urban system, etc. <<
