Based on the analysis of Guangzhou industry structure evolution course from the 9th Five-year Plan to 11th Five-year Plan, this paper analyzes the choice of Guangzhou's leading industry from the perspectives of competitive industries and pillar industries, higher growth rate, and higher technology level, and proposes corresponding countermeasures.
