This article elaborated the farmers' professional cooperatives of Yanqing County,Beijing from the history and present situation,characteristics,patterns and effectiveness and analyzed the problems faced by Beijing farmers' professional cooperatives in development. In addition to proposing appropriate policy recommendations,the author put forward that the farmers' professional cooperative is not only an economic organization but a social organization as well. It has gradually become a mainstay in the new rural construction and is an important carrier in the field of social-building. <<
