This thesis discusses the impacts on the two organizations by the two dynamics of competition and cooperation from areas like member state, organization and function, the degree of economic integration, history of cooperation, and law of the development, and stipulates that the Sino-Russian relations is the key that determines the trend of the bilateral relationship of SCO and the future Euro-Asian Alliance. The thesis examines the influences on SCO by the progress of Euro-Asian integration particularly from the economic perspective which include specifically the influence on the alliance internally and externally after the setup of the customs union, the influence on SCO member states by the entry of members states of the customs union into WTO, and the influence on SCO member states by the promotion of economic integration. <<
