The Santos government and anti-government armed force FARC restarted peace negotiations, but the process still faced many difficulties. If the Government can maintain the unity within the ruling coalition, the peace negotiations would make progress and President Santos will be expected to win the re-election in 2014. In the economic field, the public finance was improved significantly through the reform of financial structure. Domestic security situation was greatly eased, and the unemployment rate continued to fall. In the foreign relations, the economic and trade relationships between Colombia and other Pacific Alliance countries were further strengthened, the Colombia's bilateral free trade diplomacy made significant progress too. The Sino-Colombian trade kept balanced and grew steadily, and the bilateral cooperation is facing important opportunities.
