China-U.S.-Japan trilateral relations is one of the world's most important trilateral relationships, which exerts a decisive influence on the security pattern in Northeast Asia.At the end of 2012,there are general elections in all the three countries, thereupon some new performance can be found in the trilateral relations.Focusing on Sino-Japan dispute over the Diaoyu Islands, they interacted complicatedly and subtly. After the change of government, the Sino-U.S.relations is still critical among the three bilateral relations, while U.S.-Japan relations improved limitedly and Sino-Japan relations turned to be more vulnerable. Therefore the trilateral relations gets into dynamic balance of "romantic marriage" and "stable marriage" with U.S.as the core.Overall,it has not fundamentally changed so far and will not in the near future.
