The unstable political situations resulted in several government changes in Romania in 2012. The USL occupied a majority in the parliament but failed in an impeachment referendum against the President. The USL won the parliamentay election held in December 2012.Romanian economy is recovering slowly from the crisis and the USL government continues to pursue an austerity policy . However, the recent actions taken by the USL government have been severely criticized by the EU. At the international arena, Romania is pushing forward all-dimensional cooperation with China. <<
