2010年11月7日，缅甸举行了20年来的首次多党大选。此次大选是根据2003年提出的“民主路线图”，建设“真正的、有秩序民主”的重要一步。亲军方政党“联邦团结发展党”已在选举中胜出。中缅关系不会因缅甸领导人及政府的更迭发生根本性改变，但也面临一些挑战。
<<In Nov 7，2010，Myanmar held its first multi-party general election in 20 years.The election is an important step to build a genuine and disciplined democracy in Myanmar.The Pro-junta party，Union Solidarity and Development Party，has been successfully won the election.China-Myanmar relations will not undergo any fundamental change after the step down of Myanmar military government.On the other hand，China-Myanmar relations will face some challenges in some degree.
