The great fluctuations of the energy prices，especially those of oil prices，heavily influenced the world economy. To keep the price of the energy resources stable must be of great importance to maintain social economic stability in China as well as East Asia as a whole. The reasons behind sharp rising oil prices are very complicated，such as unbalance between supply and demand，excessive liquidity，depreciation of the dollar and so on. And then，came in the global financial crisis triggered by the U.S. sub-prime mortgage crisis，which further pushed the oil price down. The article will not only explain the fluctuations of energy resources but also focus on their impacts on East Asia economy.
