Except Australia and New Zealand, which are developed industrialized countries, most Oceanian countries are developing countries and traditionally lie at the edge of international politics.From the Point of view of geopolitics, Oceania or South Pacific can be treated as one sub-region in the Asia Pacific region. Impacted by the wave of globalization and regionalization, Oceanian countries also constitute an important link in the global political economy. In 2011-2012, Oceanian countries experienced political cyclical adjustment, economic recovery and development, and diplomatic achievements.
