A lot of transportation public opinion events consisted occurring in China in the year of 2011.Many major traffic accidents seriously threatened the safety of life and property of the people,and besides of the public's supervision of the traffic management and the law enforcement,the concerns to their own interests also promoted the development of the transportation public opinion.The transportation public opinion events showed the characteristic of quick exposure and the traditional media and network media both played important roles in this aspect.Additionally,the new media such as micro blog has a good effect in the exposure of events and the release of information.Although our country government departments showed timely accountability in dealing with transportation public opinion events,and rapidly released information,but they still had the problem of warning insufficiency and the risk communication effect was not obvious.
