This report forecasts and analyzes the impact of Asian Games on Guangzhou overall economy，supply，demand and employment，and reviews the “Asian Games Impact ”. The report argues that the “disturbing” elements in the Asian Games hosting year is temporary，the long term impact of Asian Games is positive；in the post Asian Games era，the following arrangements are needed：restoring production rapidly，settling the employees reasonably，ensuring the sustainability of follow-up investment，making full use of stadiums，keeping the sound environment，promoting the trade and investment and optimizing the structure，developing the MICE tourism. Meanwhile，much attention should be paid on the rapid changes in city’s energy consumption level under the influence of the Asian Games.
