"The National Program for Medium and Long-term Talent Development (2010-2020)" states that regions and industries are encouraged to establish experimental zones for the reform of talent management that fit in with the international system of talent management, which is significant for the reform of the system of talent management and policy innovation in China. With the innovative experience of exploring economic special zones and experimental zones for the comprehensive reform, China has started to practice experimental zones for the reform of talent management in some regions, taking the reform of national personnel system and experimental zones for cross strait talent communication and cooperation in Fujian province, the Zhongguancun talent special zone in Beijing and experimental zones for the reform of talent management in Guangdong province as examples, the experimental zones for the reform of talent management in China is developing, which has contributed to the implementation of the talent-first strategy and the establishment of the international competitive talent system. The author discusses the theoretical issues regarding experimental zones for the reform of talent management, such as the definitions and concepts, analyses typical cases of current experimental zones for the reform of talent management, then provides a review and prospect of the development of experimental zones for the reform of talent management in China.
