The pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is one of the six major pillar industries in Heilongjiang Province. According to statistics from the State Statistics Bureau, Heilongjiang Provincial Statistics Bureau, Heilongjiang Provincial Food and Drug Administration, as well as basic information from publications related to the pharmaceutical industry, and in view of worldwide economic crisis, this paper analyses the industrial structure, economic benefits and industrial operations in this industry. The impact of the economic crisis on the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in Heilongjiang Province is summarized and the overall environment and development trend of this industry are discussed. Finally, based on the previous analysis and forecast, coping strategies in the current situation are suggested. <<
