After the economic crisis, the foreign trade development in Heilongjiang Province is facing with new opportunities and challenges. The Province's foreign trade development after the economic crisis is analyzed from the trade scale, trade structure and trade directions. Foreign trade competitiveness is also analyzed through market share and foreign trade dependence as well as comparisons with other provinces. The results indicate that foreign trade in Heilongjiang Province enjoys a fast speed in its level and greater competitiveness after being influenced by the economic crisis. But there still exist some disadvantages in the development of foreign trade, such as incomplete trade structure, low trade levels and weak foreign trade companies. According to the requirement from the country and the tendency of global economic development, suggestions are presented to promote the trade level and competitiveness of Heilongjiang Province after the economic crisis. <<
