Since 1950s，relations between China and Middle Eastern countries have been through two periods，namely the period of revolution and war and the one of peace and development.Both the basis and dimensions of these relations have expanded.These relations are characterized by strategic cooperation，which was reflected in mutual support in the movements of national liberation before 1980s，mutual support on a number of important issues，and the increasingly closer economic cooperation and the establishment of collective dialogue mechanisms over the past 3 decades.Despite some challenges，mutual relations show a bright future.
