2007年亚太地区外交安全形势，无论是整个地区还是次地区，都出现了具有深远影响的变化。在整个地区，大国加快安全战略部署，更加突出了在全地区范围开展安全合作的必要性和紧迫性。在各次地区，虽然多边外交安全合作的内容和形式各异，但都加快了自身的机制化建设。
<<In 2007，profound change took place in diplomatic and security situation in Asia-Pacific region. In the whole region，big powers were intensifying the security strategic deployment，which strengthened the necessity and urgency of security cooperation. In sub-region，though contents and forms were different from each other，the multilateral diplomatic and security cooperation was institutionalizing quickly.
