It is of great significance for the urban ecosystem construction to promote new-type urbanization，and strengthen urban ecological civilization. Till now，the urban ecosystem constructions in Henan province have been some successful practice and exploration. However，there but in are still many problems existed in the urbanizing level，urban infrastructure construction and urban ecological environment. In the paper，in order to achieve urban ecosystem’s sustainable development，we propose to promote the urban ecosystem carrying capacity as the prerequisite，enhance the urban ecosystem’s resistance as the crucial，protect the urban ecosystem nutrient cycling and energy flow continuity as the key，and harmonize the relationships between human and nature in the city as the core.
