The economical and intensive use of land resources is an important way for regions to crack the dilemma：how to protecting the barn of China and guaranteeing the land demand of the economic and social development simultaneity. This paper puts forward the countermeasures to improving the current system of economical and intensive use of land based on the research of current situation of land use in China. Such as perfecting the macro-control system of land resources，setting the objectives of land economical and intensive use scientifically，making overall arrangements of new construction land scale，tapping into the potential of existing construction land fully，strengthening the intensive utilization of infrastructure land，and so on. Which can provide references for regions to break the bottleneck of land use，as well as transforming the economic development mode and upgrading the industrial structure.
