With the city facing more pressure for development,many European cities are seeking new development opportunities,and the smart city has become a chance. As a leader in Europe,Vienna has achieved many accomplishments,especially in the smart city projects combined with urban master planning and in the practical smart city projects. Based on status in quo of Vienna urban development,the paper made a detailed analysis on the"smart city Wien"plan. Finally,the paper made some recommendations on smart city construction in China. <<
