This paper,based on the Brookings report:Global Metro Monitor 2011:Volatility,Growth,and Recovery,illustrated a variety of economic performance across the world's largest metropolitan economies,reflecting a range of factors. It showed the reason of metropolitan performance in 2011,and identifies the factors that will lead metro areas getting recovered from the Great Recession,and promoting their future development. <<
