This paper was summarized to comb based on CNKI database of journalism and communication discipline within 2004-2012 grassroots relevant literature research，distribution of the topic selection of the researchers and the highly cited papers were compared，found that the popularity of the Internet and the rapid development of social media to grassroots groups gather and rise；its extensive participation as ordinary people overturned the inherent thinking under the mass media in the audience of the linear structure，formed a diversified modern transmission forms of interaction；Grassroots groups concerned about the increasing social events with review and present spontaneous agglomeration trend of current social development changes with a force that can not be ignored.
