Toyota’s “recall” has been a huge shock to the international community.More important is the fact that it presents a serious issue in a post-crisis era how to achieve sustainable development of manufacturing.While realizing there are multiple causes of their product quality objectively，it is needed for us to correctly gain insights into experiences and lessons in the growth of Toyota in the view of innovation，which will help us to understand the nature of the Toyota incident and the relationship between innovation and sustainable development in order to solve our own issues.
