Current research in international behind-the-scenes groups generally covers a wide range of issues such as religious，political，financial，demographic and ethnic ones，and is thus very complicated. Due to their secretiveness and scant evidence，there exist some misunderstandings in related documents and literature，e.g.，instigating hostility towards the Jews，and an oversimplified stigmatization of behind-the-scenes groups like the Freemasons. In so doing，it is easy to mislead the public. At present，it is both important and imperative for China to spread information and guide public opinion，so as to maintain its ideological，financial，political and cultural security.
