武汉城市圈近几年来在高速公路、金融与信息网络、武汉与周边城市之间的经济对流呈现出高速发展的态势，但相对封闭、各自独立的政务系统越来越不适应城市圈的内在要求。本文以新公共管理理论为视角，分析了新公共管理的主要特征，通过借鉴英国电子政务的做法，提出了武汉城市圈电子政务建设的设想。
<<Wuhan urban agglomeration has formed high-quality highway，finance and information net. But relatively separating system of governments cannot meet the need of multi-communication of political organizations and departments. This paper analyzes how to set up the electric government among Wuhan urban agglomeration from new public administration theory based on the experience of England.
