In 2010，Zengcheng Municipality exerted great efforts to structure the innovative development system involving the whole municipality，continuously strengthened the management and protection of intellectual property，expedited the construction of information institution and information application system，and made comparatively great achievements in the science and technology and information works. In addition，this year saw the high-tech products’ output value of CNY 49，692 million accounting for 39.41% of the industrial output of the enterprises above the designated size of the whole municipality. In 2011，Zengcheng Municipality will further speed up the construction of information，continue improving the information level of the whole municipality，advance the independent innovation，create the core brand，and make new progress in the science and technology and information works.
