Guangzhou is one of the leading cities of practicing “The Internet of Things” technology. It not only has a solid foundation in practicing and developing the “The Internet of things” technology，but also has a substantial scale of market. The current studies indicate that Guangzhou has 240 thousands of “Machine to Machine” （M2M） terminals，which is a 60% growth increase compared to Year 2009. There are more than 700 companies in Guangzhou that have business related to “The Internet of Things” and its estimated production value is about CNY 200 billions. With this in mind，Guangzhou decides to increase the market values of the related Electronic Information Manufacturing Industries to CNY 500 billion and the Information Integration Services in “The Internet of Things” to CNY 1000 billion；and to promote a 1～2 percentage point in Electronic Information Technology industries than the Electronic Manufacturing industries.
